Hook has the best brunch in Georgetown. All there food is delicious, including the best hamburger you've ever eaten. If they have the veggie sandwich on special, get it, you won't regret it. There drinks are amazing too!

We went for our anniversary at the suggestion of the Hyatt D.C. - We were so very pleased!! All of the food was done beautifully with exquisite tastes that left your toungue jumping for joy. The service was wonderful and our waiter new everything about the menu. We wish we had enough room for dessert because everything sounded so wonderful - but we were too full - but they surpised us with a glass of champagne at the end of our dinner. A very nice way to finish off one of the best meals we have had out in a very long time.

Hook was a wonderful experience. the flavors of the food were deep and complex. It was like a party on my tongue. The tuna tartar was the best I've ever had. The ginger raisens and pomegranate apples completely enhanced the tuna. The meals were exquisite. There were so many levels of flavor to each dish. The service was very good. We sat at the family style table which turned out to be wonderful for a romantic date. although it was very classy, Hook also felt comfortable and relaxing. Not stuffy at all. I Highly reccomend it.

No reservation needed early on a Saturday night (signs of the times). All of the food was extremely fresh-tasting, and my fish was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.

My sister and I came here on a Saturday night and it was DEF well worth it. First, you extremely likely want to make reservations otherwise you will have to wait VERY long...the place was SOO packed! There wasn't even a seat at the bar or @ their walk-in table! My sister and I started off w/ the crudos...our waiter said EACH and every one was delicious...and we DEF agreed! My sister got the oyster and I got the Trout Roe....SO good...you cannot share them b/c they are tiny but SO worth it! Per our waiter's suggestions, next time I want to try "the cure" and "yellowfin tuna". My sister and I weren't feeling any of the appetizers so we both got a pasta as our appetizers. My sister got the black risotto...SO good! You could taste hints of garlic and lemon but the risotto was PHENOMENAL! They use squid ink to flavor it w/ little bits of crunchy things (it might be onions I believe??)...DEF recommend it...very unusual and really good! I got the carbonera....very good and lighter than the risotto. I really liked the chunks of crabmeat and pieces of bacon however, I thought the sauce could be a bit more rich in flavor...I like things w/ a stronger taste. For our entrees, my sister got the sablefish and I got the rockfish. BOTH AMAZING and SO good! The sablefish comes in this good broth and mixes well w/ the potatoes/tunips. The texture of the fish is flaky and delicate. My rockfish was really good too! It came in this pecan puree and tasted delightful when mixed w/ the quinoa cake w/ sauteed onions on top...DEF would eat it again! Overall this place was very good for a place that serves seafood and very inventive dishes...YUM! Would come back again! :)
