Where's My Traditional Salad?
I too have been a longtime patron of Houstons/Woodmont Grill. During my last visit and I might add to my dismay they have discontinued their traditional salad topped with bacon with the greatest cheese bread. This won't stop me from patronizing the establishment, but I truly hope management brings back their old menu!

Nothing like the previous Houston's
Having grown up in the Rockville area and now living in Florida, it had been quite sometime since I last visited Houston's (last time in 2005). I was in town and decided to try out the Woodmont Grill and unfortunately was very disappointed. The portion are quite smaller and many items that previously came with the dinner are now a-la-carte . No more bake potato soup or the famous house salads that they were known for. Even the cheese bread that previously came with the salads are no more. I was a loyal customer of Houstons from 1986-1998 when I lived in the area and would frequent the establishment 2-3 times per week. It is so sad to see what it has become since it left Rockville.

Oh how you've gone down!
We have been frequenting this restaurant for 15 years and live 40 minutes away, only to find the food quality has gone down, portions reduced and the menu changed. Customer service has also diminished and prices are 25% higher. Where did our Houstons go? We won't be driving around the beltway as we've had 3 bad experiences....you striked out!

Good Food, Higher Prices
The food is still great but the prices are now much higher and the portions are much smaller. The atsmophere is very noisy. It's on the level of TGIF. Dine earlier to avoid the extreme noise and very long wait.

Iron Sillet Cornbread
We ordered the cornbread, didn't like it at all. There was jalepeno peppers in the cornbread, not good. I prefer the old fashion cornbread. Please put that on the menu that the cornbread has peppers in it. Besides that, everything else was yummy. They also should think about selling other American Beers besides Miller Lite.

Oh, Houston's, where did you go?
One of our all time favorites is gone! On the eve of 2012, we discovered Houston's is no longer residing in the Woodmont Grill. Be prepared: The portions are cut by about 25% and the prices are about 30% higher. Suddenly! The beloved grilled artichoke hearts have diminished from 4 halves to 3 and the price has gone up from $9 to $12. The waitress told us to notice that they are now much bigger. (NOT!) But the price is. What a disappointment! My club salad was about 25% smaller and more expensive. The delicious artichoke dipping sauce was noticeably reduced. Also, a favorite, the Sunbelt Salad, is no longer available. Yes, we know things must change and economic times are hard. But they are hard on the customer too. Please, give us a break! Bring back the good ole days..... of last month!

Wonderful
I love this place. I enjoy it every time I come. My favorite is the jumbo shrimp and baked potato. Delicious! Wonderful! Excellent! The service is great, the wait time is super short. My only complaint is parking.
