Jerusalem restaurant used to be one of my favorite restaurants. My husband and i loved it so much that we decided to have them cater our wedding a couple of weekends ago. This turned out to be a monumental mistake and one i’ll regret forever. I hope this post will prevent another unsuspecting customer from going through the same stress and disappointment that my husband and i went through. jerusalem restaurant, which proclaims itself to be a restaurant that specialized in catering totally dropped the ball and messed up the date of our event; it wrote down the wrong date. I’m still perplexed as to how they managed to mess up the date of the event, since there were at least half a dozen emails and two face to face meetings with the catering manager in which we discussed the date of the event. mistakes happen in life, but how one reacts and deals with these mistakes is what sets you apart. On the date of the event, when the caterer was a no show. My husband and i tried calling the catering manager several times, however, she decided to screen and not take our calls. When we finally were able to reach her at another number, our guests were already arriving. In the end, the restaurant slapped something together last minute (it was very obvious the food was put together last minute, starting with the burnt-to-a-char onions on the mujadara) and delivered it almost two hours later than originally scheduled with dozens of hungry wedding guests. because of the rushed job, the restaurant was unable to prepare all the dishes that we had ordered and paid for, instead, it provided a quicker and cheaper substitute. After the event, instead of offering to compensate us for our trouble and expenses (three of my guests had to leave the venue and run to the grocery store to buy appetizers for the other guests) and refund us the difference in what the restaurant provided vs. What we paid for. The restaurant instead gave us a gift certificate to the restaurant for the difference. Offering a gift certificate to their restaurant for money that they owe me is hardly compensatory and insulting. My emails since to the catering manager asking for a proper refund has gone unanswered. word to the wise, avoid this place, especially for a special occasion or catering event. You will live to regret it.

Jerusalem restaurant was a great find. All the food is very fresh and the hummus is spectacular. Probably some of if not the best middle eastern food in NOVA.

We have gone to Jerusalem several times and it has been fantastic! The service is very fast and everyone is always pleasant. The prices are also very reasonable and the food is absolutely scumptious! Whether you are in the area or not, you must try Jerusalem. The area might not be the best, but the restaurant itself is amazing!
