Extra charges on your bill
Food, service, and atmosphere at Kam Fong restaurant are on average. The waiters' service were alright. The place was bright enough but the space was little tight; perhaps, it was acceptable. What are unacceptable are their charges and food quality! Consumers that are searching Chinese restaurant at Washington DC, please watch out. I ordered a BBQ pork and roasted chicken rice with soy sauce that is normally cost around $4 - $5. Guess what? They charged it for $7.50. The dish came out cold. Not just the pork and chicken but the rice as well. When I went in there and sat down at the table, the waiter placed a glasses of water, a tea pot, and a tea cup. He didn't ask me if I want them or not. And guess what? They charged me for the hot tea for $1.50. I didn't even have a sip of it. Another charge they put on there was gratitude. I couldn't find a single world on the menu saying that if you are eating there 15% gratitude will automatically charge on your bill. I experienced that before when a group of my friends and I ate another restaurant but they did write it out on the menu saying 15% gratitude will be charged for party of six and over. We were fine with that since we knew about it and accepted it. But what Kam Fong restaurant doing isn't acceptable. Good Luck guys!
