    Very good-Recommend

My food was delicious. I chose the medium spicy chicken/pork rib small platter with roasted potatoes & coleslaw. (the other vegetables & starches did not look appealing).

    Good Food

This place use to be "Hogs on the Hill"10 + yrs. ago it became Kenny's. Due to Gov't work, I've lived in alot of places up-n-down the East Coast and Mid-West, so I've tasted good bar-b-Q!! For this area this is good fare. Prices are reasonable. sauce is just ok. But the ribs are GOOD! Always cooked well + tender. Sides are excellent!! Service and atmosphere are always on point! Have not experienced much better for the DMV area. Sauce was better back when it was H.O.T.H

    Monday!

I have always liked Kenny's... But I went there for the first time on a Monday last night. It was like eating at a new place. Everything was on point. I got the Smokehouse combo which is basically everything. Amazing! The sides were all Amazing as well. Recommend the Black Eyed Peas & Rice, Cabbage & Green Beans. Next Monday gonna go back and see if the greens are better than normal too!

    Ummmmmmmmmm ok.

I don't know what other people expect from BBQ but what i got was not what I expected. The BBQ tasted like pickled mambo sauce (but i would have preferred mambo sauce.) Not only was that mess watery, it smothered my cabbage and sweet potatoes if you could call them sweet. Now, I had chicken so mabey that was it. NO! My husband bought some dry ribs that had more burnt spots and bones then meat. The water sauce pretty much spilled out before he got to it. Mabey this wasn't a good day for them but it sure wasn't a good day for my taste buds. However, my husband thought the greens were great.

    Eating good in the neighborhood

I'm with Tameka...the food is great and the prices are too. I too am from the South and I must say it's not the REAL NC barbeque but it's a mighty good option when you can't get it! I have NEVER had thin, light-colored barbeque sauce at Kenny's. It's always best to get Hot and work down to Mile.

    Bar BQ Sauce

I don't know what in the world was an earlier reviewer was talking about, with Kenny's Bar BQ Sauce. It is awsome, especially on those ribs and chicken and you have to get the spicy sauce. From the side orders to the meats everything is always so good and the Atmospher of the place is wonderful. And I am from the SOUTH, I know good Sauce when I taste it, and my favorite the GREENS(PERFECT)! As a matter of fact I am on my way there right now !

    You Call That Barbeque Sauce?!

I decided to check out Kenny's after reading an article profiling the place in the Washington Post. It noted that Kenny's had been in business for 10 years, so I figured, hey, the barbeque has at least got to be decent- boy was I wrong! I got the food home, my mouth watering for the sweet or tangy taste of barbeque, and what did I get? A watered down, heavy on the hotsauce version of MUMBO SAUCE!! The sauce was not at all reminiscent of barbeque sauce- even the color was all wrong- a pinkish red. The cabbage was season free, and the mac n chesse- well lets say I've tasted better coming out of a Kraft box.
