Best Mexican/Salvadoran Food in DC
I eat out often, but more often here than anywhere else. Great menu. Outstanding service - Henry, the owner, sets an abundantly friendly tone that all his staff exude. Warm, cheerful, relaxing atmosphere. Good music. Excellent value. You always leave wanting to come back soon.

Good all-around
This place serves Salvadoran and Tex-Mex. I think it's the best Tex-Mex this side of the Mississippi. The only is always there and is so nice. Drinks are strong and moderately-priced. Ambience is cozy and relaxed. I highly recommend.

Relaxed, friendly and affordable
La Plaza is our place on the Hill, my friends dropping by for fine margaritas and Latin food at least twice a month. Henry, the owner, remembers and gives great kudos to all his regulars, but then again, Henry is wonderful to everyone. The food is tasty and affordable and the atmosphere relaxed. Love La Plaza.

Great Neighborhood Restaurant
As frequent visitors of La Plaza, I have come to love the authentic Mexican/Salvadorean dishes along with the warm atmosphere. The food is always top notch, and the service attentive and friendly. Everything on the menu is great, but an order of pupusas is a must. The fajitas, plaintains and chimichangas are also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
