Great spot
I love this place. The family that runs it are some great people and the food is ALWAYS good.

Waste of money!
I just knew that I was in for a good lunch when I order the fried fish sandwich & baked beans. When I got back to my office to eat. The fish was too crispy & oily. The roll that it came on was burnt! The baked beans tasted like they were fresh out of the can and to top it off I pay 12 freakin dollars! Such a waste of money. I do not recommend this restaurant.

"Not allowed" to have a bagel @ lunch
If you are hungry for a New York bagel at lunchtime, forget about going to Loeb's. Even though Loeb's has plenty of bagels in plain sight at the deli counter, customers are "not allowed" to order just a bagel at lunchtime. That's a sneaky and selfish way for Loeb's to make the customer buy an $8 sandwich. After this experience, I'll go elsewhere where they willingly sell bagels at lunchtime.

Great Deli Stop for Out-of-Towners!
We found this delightful little deli because we didn't want to spend 14 dollars for a piece of toast and a yogurt at our hotel. On vacation from Minnesota. It offers great value, quick easy semi-self service, sparklingly clean, and adequate portions for our midwest appetites. We give it our five loon award for friendliness and helpfulness. Opens nice and early to get started on your walking tour quickly.
