So I am new to D.C and was looking for a good mexican carryout/delivery place. A friend recommended this place and I was a little skeptical at first. Although, I have to say that the food was AMAZING. The food was exactly what I ordered and the portions were huge. I had the food delivered and was here within 20 minutes when the quoted time was 35 minutes. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice authentic mexican meal. Enjoy!

I have ordered from los cuates a few times (and its AWESOME that they deliver, BUT) today was a big let down. It took an hour and a half from the time that I placed the order. I called when we hit the hour mark (we were quoted 45 mins.) and was told that the food was already on its way. I live about 3 minutes up the street by car. the delivery guy called to ask the address, THREE TIMES. I had to repeat myself at least 8 times and he still went somewhere else! so 20 minutes later, her gets here. usually the quality of the food makes it worth the wait. today, the food was cold and the tortillas hard around the edges. and usually a $16.95 fajita combo comes w. 4 tortillas, today, only 3. I asked for extra salsa and received 2 cups of salsa, but each were only a quarter full (they used to be full). i also called to speak with someone at the restaurant regarding the delivery time, and he said that "I was wrong about the time". Sorry, my phone doesn't lie. $45 for 2 fajita combos and a side of guacamole is a little much to receive the poor customer service that was given today. :o(

Love this place... have been here several times and have always had an amazing time. The food is always good, never greasy, and they have a great variety. The service can be a tiny bit slow, but that just gives me more time to enjoy the fantastic frozen margaritas!
