The turkey sub is my favorite!
I'm a DC native and have been coming to this place before Harris Teeter was there and nothing has changed! Their Turkey and Cheese sub is "Out of this World"....literally! Soft roll of course...and top it off with one of those delicious brownies.....yum yum! keep the good food flowing!

Old school at its best
AHH and Italian Sub made fresh with very fresh meats and cheeses. Head to Mangialardo and Sons for a historic taste of DC. This place has been here for over 50 somthing years. Enough time to know my Great Grand Dad may have frequented this venue as he lived only a couple of blocks away. Try the Gman...Im a big guy so I go the extra mile and get the Super G. Very tasty and very orginal sub you wont be disapointed. Try the Super G with a bag of chips and or that very fresh pickle they keep in the fridge to the left. Add the Nantucket Nectars Strawberry and Watermelon drink and WHEWZERS DEILLISHUS....I had the breakfast sandwich as well. Very good. They close at 3 and no weekends makes it a treat because I work in VA and dont have lunch hours for this spot. So whenever Im off or got a Dr. appt Im sure to stop by for my very own Super G. Its big...

always satisfied
This place is a must for our office events. In the short time I've been in DC (2006) and have ordered for my staff (about 3-4 times a year), we have never gotten a wrong order, the food has always been fresh and ready to go when we arrived. Since there is limited to no parking around, we always fax our order over early. The staff is very friendly and the food is great!

Blast from the old mans past.
I remember when my father was doing remodels on the old rowhouses across the street. He would always talk about this joint. Hot on a Hard. Best lunch ever. ON and ON. Well now I have made my way down here. And he was right. Super G-man and a Pepsi $9 and some change. And there was enough left over for dinner. My only down side was the number of cop cars all over the place. But I guess a cop has gotta eat too. Good job guys.

Great Subs on the Hill
These are some of the best subs on the hill. The G-Man is a great Italian sub, and my order is always right. They answer the phone right away when you call in an order, and the prices are amazing. If you are on the hill for lunch, you should stop by this place.

Order from here often and each time we have checked MUSTARD and MAYO was put on the sandwich. This time around it was a turkey sub with one slice of turkey and one slice of cheese for a sub. Not happy and will not be returning after spending much money from our offices, to many sandwiches being messed up by lack of attention to what is on the order form.

Outstanding
These sub a addictive. I find myself wanting them all the time. They are delicious, resonably priced and the resturant is very convenient. If you gotta have a habit make it Mangialardo and Sons. Wow!! You know what I'm thinking. "I want one". Everytime the people order from my office weather I'm at work or not, I ask them to bring me a sub back and I'll have it the next day (there are still good). I'm hocked!
