Hard Roll and Hot Peppers, Please
Mangialardo & Sons serves a mean series of subs especially the G-Man and a series of other breakfast and Italian-related dishes. The G-Man is generous in proportion I can't muster the courage to try the Super G-Man. The staff is friendly, efficient, the food elements fresh, and a selection of other items lining the shelves allowing you to build your own. It beats the hell out of that other Italian sub shop in Arlington.

It's deli-cious
This is just a deli--no place to sit, but that really doesn't matter because these are the best subs in town, particularly the G-Man and the Pizza sub. It's just too bad they aren't open longer hours.

Only REAL Italian subs in DC
Order a G-Man (ham, genoa salami, provo, pepperoni) or a Super G (double the amount). Your hunger will die a quick death.

Best Subs in the City
There are two places to get subs in this city that are worth anything. First, is Mangialardos, second is The Italian Store in Rosslyn. I guarantee you they are the only two places that are worth while.
