The restaurant is a clean, well-lit place with decent service. If you stick to diner fare like burgers, meatloaf, egg dishes, and pies you're doing fine price-wise. If you move into the region of non-diner fare, expect to be gouged big-time. Unlike others, I can't say the portions are that large. Great for a Sunday brunch. Even better Saturday late-night when trouble-making diners are given the bums rush by the staff.

The food is quite good and the menu offers a wide variety of choices. The atmosphere is also nice, but the thing that separates this restaurant from any other I've been to is the size of the servings. No one walks out of there hungry! Many of the customers have to take food home with them because they just can't eat everything on their plate. No matter what you order, you get a larger portion of that item than at any other restaurant I've seen. The food is good, the service is good, the atmosphere is good, but the value you get for your money is the best!

The food is good, burgers, etc, wish the prices were more "diner" oriented. Average meal with soft drink and main course is about $20 per person.

I've had better diner food, but the portions are big and the food is decent.

The food and the service are excellent. The restaurant is extremely clean and kid friendly. Our children really enjoyed the pancakes and our omletts were the best we have eaten. Must dine at Metro 29
