Mrs. Chen's Kitchen

On the Menu under lunch special C13 it states Chicken & Shrimp with Broccoli and when I arrived the gentleman stated that it was ONLY Chicken and Broccoli, so I spoke to the person who was taking the order and she stated that Management had told her that it was a mistake on the menu that was printed. After the fussing, the manager on duty stated she was going to make both of my orders half Chicken and Half Shrimp; when I got to my office and open the box All I saw was Chicken & broccoli. :( What kind of service is this? I have been coming to this restaurant for 10 years and never had a problem till today.

I been ordering food since 1997 the only place i order my beef and broccoli and Chichen lo mein. The owner Maria is very profesional. I will recommend also the orange chicken.the price is right and you will be happy to order from there.

The food comes in very large quantities for a very good price. This is my favorite Chinese fast food place and trust me, I have tried many. I practically only order from here. The place could use remodeling but it does seem like a friendly little store. They also have lots of drinks which I can't find near my area. The workers were friendly and helpful, although they may be stern.

I have eaten at Mrs. Chens too many times to count, and each time I am satisfied. They have enormous portions to go along with incredibly affordable prices. I can eat 2 or 3 meals with one order, and it's always quality food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting good Chinese food at a low price.

I eat quite a bit of Chinese food and normally make it myself. Was too tired to cook tonight so I thought I would try Mrs. Chen's. I ordered hot and sour soup but they didn't have any soup at all?!? I then tried to order the fish balls which they were out of as well. I settled for vegi dumplings. They looked like dumplings but had zero flavor. The sauce tasted like soy sauce and vinegar. I also ordered chicken and tofu. The tofu was sour, a clear indication that it had gone bad. The brocoli was pitiful looking. The one dish that was edible was the curry chicken. Generally I don't expect a lot from American style Chinese food but Mrs. Chen's was a real disappointment. I will never order from there again. I don't understand why is it so hard to get decent Chinese food in Arlington.

Ordered two vegetarian dishes last night, specified "no meat" "no egg"--got both in both dishes. Will not order from here again. I would imagine the food is good, if Mrs Chen and her staff actually filled the food orders specified.

Well cannot expect a five star food from a place selling so cheap..so food is worth its money..good reasonable and large qty..orange chicken comes with rice and tastes good. I ordered combo rice which was ok and was real large portion.Bt place needs remodelling...better to take a take out..area also is shady..
