    Great Neighborhood Restaurant

I had read some of the reviews on your site before I met friends at Nage last week. I think these people were reviewing a different restaurant! My meal was great! It was reasonably priced. The food was cooked perfectly with very fresh ingredients. The servers were very fun and not at all overbearing. I am glad I went and will definitely go back soon!

    Over spiced and over cooked.

I guess the chef is trying to be creative. I ordered a salmon on some sort of fish stew kinda tasted like gumbo. Over spiced seafood goo (I don't know what else to call since it has potatoes and rubbery calamari in it with tons of spice) on the bottom and barely taste the salmon which is way over cooked for medium rare. I don't like restaurants claims to serve seafood and take the skin off the fish which in my opinion, very stupid. I don't like eating salmon which is over $25 a dish and tasting like fast food.

    Repeat Customer

This is a great restaurant for a reasonable price. All too often in DC you must "take out a loan" to get a good meal. The Reho store is equally good. Keep it up! Shrimp and Calamari Bruschetta was out of this world.

    Not Worth It

From these reviews I thought this place was going to be great; I was wrong. Service: They were nice but they try way too hard. The place had two other people in there but we had four different waiters and the manager constantly coming to our table asking if everything was ok. It got very annoying. Food: It's nothing special, they use way too much butter and I wasn't impressed with the quality or freshness. I left thinking the food was, "ehh." Value: The prices are way too expensive for what you get. There are so many better places in DC and in the area that has better food and ambience. Nage is attached to a hotel, so I can see why hotel guests might like going there, but there are many others places a block or two away to try out.

    Wow

My second visit. This chef from Hawaii is magical. Stay on the daily board and you will be overwhelmed.

    Best in DC

Visited DC last weekend. Asked concierge where to eat. Since I had only one night, I wanted the best experience. And I got it. Specials on board are remarkable and was told they reflect the Hawaiian experience of the Chef de Cuisine. Amazing. Highly recommend.
