I've been going to ollis trolley for years.since the ealy 1980's I live in Virginia.when ever I come to DC I try to go there.you have the best burger and fries.Would be nice if they open one in Virginia.

Simple menu with something for everyone. CASH ONLY. You place your oders and find a place to sit and wait for your number to be called. Dated and a bit dirty but that is a hallmark of a good diner that's been in business for years. Fries are seasoned and the burgers are tasty. All in all a good stop.

As a child in Steubenville , Ohio, we had a Lums restaurant, with an Ollies Trolley ( a true trolley car), out side it. I never forgot it. I rediscovered Ollies in D.C., and was extremely happy the recipe for the world's best fries and burgers was alive and well. Atmosphere is preferential, but great food is enjoyed by all. I have driven the five plus hours just to experience this awsome taste. Can't say enough, great food, great prices, & the best fries ever. here is preferential, but

We visited DC and came upon this place that looked like a fun burger place for the kids. Well it at least had burgers. The place is stuck in the 80's and looked dirty on the inside with flies all over the dining room. All the fun antiques were awkward, creepy, and dirty. We did actually order some burgers to take outside bc we were desperately hungry and they were actually decent. The kitchen area looked clean enough. Go here for some cheap burgers only... Or don't
