Tofu can be hard to cook, and I only ordered two tofu dishes, Kung Pao Tofu and General Tso tofu. But they tasted exactly the same, I even called up because I thought they were the same dish. The person on the phone asked if they both had nuts. No, only one did, so I that qualified them as different. I asserted they were the same dish, and she refused to acknowledge that the customer is right. Tofu was incredibly spongy. The place across from the Ballston metro is a lot better. Also, the containers were so packed with sauce it overflowed as soon as open. Very fast delivery though and good prices. If you're too drunk and hungry to care, order here.

When I called to make an order the woman over the phone was very rude and showed very poor customer service. When the food arrived she called me several times to make sure that I gave the delivery guy a tip and insisted on knowing how much I gave him. It wasn't the first time someone has treated me that way from that restaurant. I hope the poor service is improved.

I called to order for delivery four orders for the 1st time. The lady got my address and phone number then she told me it was too far and hung up. She didn't even give me the option to pick up. Wow, these people really need classes how to take orders. I'll take my business somewhere else where they can listen and give me options.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Arlington. I drive all the way from Shirlington for their food, even though I pass like 5 Chinese restaurants on the way there. Always clean, quality, and a great price. I wish they would give you a little larger portions of steamed rice with entrees, but I just order a side of it and I have enough. Great place!

I love "Oriental Gourmet." The staff are friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is very pleasant, (and clean!), and the food is consistently excellent. It's everything you could want in a neighborhood Chinese restaurant, with take-away and delivery.

High quality, fresh, crisp and plentyful. I have frequented this restaurant since it opened and have always found the food and service to be excellent. I love many of Arlingtons ethnic restaurants and this is among the best for quality, value and service.

My wife & I visited for the first time today, for Sunday lunch. We were in the mood for dim sum, which we usually get Canton (cart) style since we're used to that from dining in Guangzhou. OG, though, is Shanghai/Taiwan style, from a checklist. That turned out to be an advantage, as the six dishes we ordered were all nice & hot. We liked every one of them, very much, from "Eight Treasure Mashed Taro Roots" (sweet) to "Stir Fried Small Fish & Peanuts" (very spicy, with fresh green chillies). Even the tea we got (jasmine) was unusually good for a Chinese restaurant (and we're quite fussy about tea--we've trashed other restaurants in reviews for blowing this one). The service was simply excellent (the place was almost empty), with water refills, tea refills, and the check all showing up at precisely the right times without our indicating in any way. Our waiter kept us informed about the progress of the six dishes (which came out in three batches, not far apart). The maître d' (seemed like the owner) came by several times, without being intrusive, to explain things, and was pleasant without being obsequious (though, I suppose in Chinese style, he never looked at my Chinese wife :-). We spent $31.34 plus tip, and considered this very reasonable. This is going to be a frequent spot for us, we suspect, though we need to try the regular menu before being certain.
