I've never written a review on a website before but this warrants a first time... I ordered some sushi rolls and general tsos chicken, I asked how long it would take to deliver and they said 45 minutes... 1 hour and 30 later I called and they had no clue where my food was. It finally arrived but only the general tsos chicken and some inedible deep fried cream cheese dumplings which I didn't order arrived. I called them to inform them that they got my order wrong and they hung up without saying much. An hour later after I gave up and made some food at home my original order arrived... The sushi was unappetizing and had clearly been sitting out for an extended period of time.

I've been looking for a sushi place in the Columbia Heights area that delivered for the longest time. Just today a pamphlet slid under my apartment door & I thought to myself, "Finally! A place I can order from." Well, after finishing an order of salmon rolls, California rolls, and salmon sashimi I can tell you don't do it! The California rolls were covered in mayonnaise. What?! I love mayonnaise, but on my sushi is not the place. The salmon roll was bland and so was the sashimi, I'd say the fish was a little older but still edible. I guess I won't be ordering in sushi until I find another place. If I get sick, I will be beyond mad with this place. I'm already disappointed.

I love O'Tasty's! Its food is always good and the delivery always quick. I rarely have any complaints for O'Tasty's. I am glad I found it after a long time of searching for my Chinese food place!

We are old-time Washingtonians and can still remember the days of Chen's Chinese (not Mrs. Chen's) on Connecticut Avenue. We think O'Tasty's perform well in many of the menu areas we order from, but I think that their prices limit how upscale some dishes may end up being. Don't expect miracles and go for standards and you will probably be pleased: Good soups on a cold winter night, tasty crab rangoon appetizers, fabulous old fashioned spare ribs, terrific moo shi chicken or pork, and very good shrimp w/ Chinese vegetables for the money. $10 minimum for delivery (worth it!) and Hong, who answers the phones, is always helpful and friendly.

I've been in DC for about 6 years and this is the best Chinese delivery place I've ever had. The food is good, they're always open and they always deliver on time. I've never been in the actual restaurant, so I didn't know what to say for atmosphere. But for delivery, this place is the best.

Do not ever order delivery from O'Tasty's unless you're willing to wait 1.5+ hours. They were miserable and unhelpful when we called back to find out if our food was still coming. The delivery guy refused to come to the door. It was a total disaster. The food is pretty standard, but it isn't worth the torturous wait or service. I give it a 0-5.

Just ordered in and had delivered. Fast and easy :) Food was great compared to price.
