    My favorite inexpensive Italian

Been eating in and carrying out for over 20 years. The food is excellent. It's a Bethesda tradition. And I cannot imagine Bethesda w/o Pines! Their white pizza must be consumed hot, in house. It will be one of the best you ever eat. The regular pizz

Best Italian in Greater DC area

I've been eating at The Pines since the early 80's. Marco is a hands-on owner who has even personally prepared me Italian specialties on on the menu. I've eaten everything on the menu + specials at least 3 times and all have been superb, delicious, fres

    Coming here for 25 years

    Great Pizza

Best place for ravioli or eggplant parmigiana

Not everything here is great (avoid the flounder), but the eggplant parmigiana and the cheese ravioli with marinara set the standard for excellence. The pizza isn't fancy, but it's very good--I recommend getting it with mushrooms. The regular salad is qui

    It's like coming home

PoR has been a family staple ever since I can remember. The white pizza, spaghetti carbonara, fettucini alfredo, and pasta fagiole are the best I have ever had. I can't order them at other restaurants because I know they won't be as good. My parents took
