On the restaurant side: Buster is an amazing bartender. Definitely a local bar. Come a couple times and you're a regular. Definitely great service! Treat the staff well!

I love ramparts - especially the tavern. Great local option. Consistently great food with good specials.

Good food - good service. Popular with neighborhood locals. Daily specials and great happy hours in the tavern. 1/2 priced wine on Saturday can't be beat!!

Ramparts is basically two restaurants in one: a supposedly upscale, and a neighborhood family-sports bar. Both sections are pretty. Let's define the two: 1) Supposedly upscale: mediocre food, really SNOOTY service, but a nice decore. Don't expect anything prompt. Clientele? Elderly matrons and insurance-used car salesmen. Value goes down because what they order is to impress clients. 2) The sports bar is considerably better and neighborhood friendly. Sit around for a burger and a beer, watch the game, and ignore anything else in the restaurant. Service is great, and if just a b&b, value is good.
