Romano's Macaroni Grill
Posted by Destiny on 08/03/2012
The dishes were dirty, our waiter sucked, our food was old and their customer service sucks. Go to a different location, not all Macaroni Grills are like this. I recently found out that they are franchises. This one just happens to be subpar.

This place was awesome! The bread was very good, as well as the pizza. I will go back!

The food is very good. It was made correctly. The problem was it took almost 2 hours for it to come. Fortunately I was in the mood for talking and waiting, but I would not recommend this place if you are in a hurry or don't want to wait.

Went there on a Friday evening, when traffic to the restaurant was beginning to build and probably the best nite to go.. Went with two friends. No wait for table seating, 40 min for booth. We took a table. Not a bad location. Initial service for a drink was slow. Waiter poured oil, was slow bringing bread, then forgot plates. ummmm.. delivered one mixed drink in 3 glasses ( mix your own).. hmmm.. Salad (ceasar's - recommended high). Had the Shrimp Chardonay (not bad - pasta a lil thick and sticky - had 6 shrimp medium size) Friends had Shrimp Diablo - baddd - had only 4 shrimp (managment consulted- knew the prob- can't do anything) also other friend had Shrimp Alfredo - sauce like water - ummmm. Atmosphere was generally what you'd expect of a popular restaurant in the restaurant and shopping area of a city.. busy and friendly. Finally - price was comparable to - but have had better service and food at OG. This is just one RMacGrill.. Not a 4.5 stars in my estimation.

The grill is a great place to take a date or your kids. The food is pretty good (chicken marsala is great!!)_and the servings are enough to fill the average person. My son loves the grill especially for the crayons and ability to draw on the paper covered table cloth. The service was also great, even on the sunny, and very bustling Saturday afternoon. Try out the menu, and check the wine selection...you really can't beat it for the price.
