go here if you like feeling invisible

Solo female traveler attending a conference - started out OK til host said "enjoy your OWN dinner" (and who else's would I be enjoying?!) Room is attractive but noisy when half full. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, portions were large, quality decent to good. Took 5 - 10 min to get attention of any server for a second glass of wine, 10 - 15 min to get the check. Nobody asked about dessert - would have considered it if somebody had asked in a timely manner. Had ample time during the above long waits to notice young couples got much more attentive service. I'm a former server and tip 20% for good service, but that didn't happen on this $35 tab.

    Going Slightly Downhill?

I used to love this place, but the most recent time I was here I did not have the best experience. The service started off attentive, but when we were looking at our menus and finally made a decision, our server was nowhere to be found for a very long time. The drink happy hour special is quite good, but the prices for food are listed cheaper on their website than what is printed on their menu at the restaurant. I found my chicken dish to be quite small and swimming in oil. When I brought this to the manger's attention, he was very nice about it.

    Great Happy Hour

I have been to happy hour here several times. They have drink and menu specials that are fantastic. I love the 1/2 price bottles of wines and their appetizers. It's a great place to sit and people watch on their patio.

Reasonable and Good Place in Dupont

I've been here for brunch and dinner and both experiences were very nice. From the look of the place you would expect it to be more expensive, but the food is pretty reasonable. The wait staff is very helpful but not in your face. They have a happy hour, and their food goes down a few dollars. A great little neighborhood joint.
