Rumberos is a night club / bar and not a restaurant. As others have stated, the food is bland and way overpriced. The service is also extremely lacking. We waited about an hour for our meals to come out. I wouldn't have been happy with the meal if I had paid $10 at a hole in the wall so paying $25+ made it even worse. Skip the food and come after 10:00 p.m. when they have a band and open up the dance floor.

Atmosphere is nice, service was OK... but the food -- sorry, but it was not good at all. Went on Valentine's Day and my fish was unappetizing. I didn't want to make my friend feel bad about the restaurant choice so I did my best (and I'm not a picky eater, I usually like everything) but it was really subpar. My friend ordered the paella and didn't say anything but it looked subpar as well. This was the only time I went here so I can't judge it on regular days/nights, but the V-Day prix-fixed was truly disappointing!

My wife and I went for Valentines Day. The food was very poorly cooked and mediocre in taste (and way overpriced for what you get). The service was very slow - we had to ask for water refills multiple times. If you like a restaurant that wants to pretend to be higher end yet gives you pats of butter still in the wrapping rather than olive oil for your bread, this is the place for you. In summary, a restaurant that wants to be classy with good food but the closest it can get to that are the prices.

Fantastic food. I love Rumbero's. I don't understand why it has gotten lower-than-deserved reviews. I send everyone I know there and they love it to. My favorite: Fettucini Vera Cruz. You won't be disappointed (unless you don't have good taste!).

The food was tasty but overpriced, the atmosphere nice, but what ruined the night was the incredibly slow, inefficient, and inept server. We had to find our own chairs (the table did not have enough seating for our reservation, even after we asked our waitress for more), had to ask for bread an hour after we were seated (it still took 15 minutes to get to us), and were overcharged for our meal. When it was pointed out, the waitress grumbled about removing the extra item, as if the error wasn't hers! If it weren't a birthday celebration of a peaceful guy, the rest of us would have had words with the manager. As is, none of us will be going back.

Like most, I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place- good music, good lighting, etc. However, the food was not worth the relatively high price. My pollo al mole was extremely bland and my wife's red snapper looked nice but, also, was bland. For a dinner that also included one tapas and two drinks, $78.00 (including tip) was definitely not worth it.

I liked almost everything, except for the service. They need more personnel. But the food and drinks are great! and the music is awesome too!
