Service here is usually fine but recently they have a big group of poker players in the back on Friday nights. This leads to slow and spotty service especially if you order bar drinks. And the constant clicking of poker chips sounds like crickets on a summers night.

I had the San Antonio salad. It was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and professional.

Chicken tacos were tasteless and runny. Refried beans had a taste of perfume and the rice was tasteless with hard corn. Not to mention it was lukewarm.

I ordered the Sante Fe Shrimp appetizer and it was not at all what i expected. The shrimp was overcooked and was chewy as overcooked shrimp can be. I asked for cocktail sauce on the side and when I got back to my desk, there was none.

Try the Carne Asada fajitas or the Asado Puertoriqueno under house specials. Fantastic!

Restaurants aim to please and most aren't aware of how to treat their company in their casa. A "sassy' meal contains five (5) essential elements. 1. Good friend to suggest, which is casual but chic 2. solid themed atmosphere , 3. Outstanding service 4. Spectacular prices and 5. a reason to write a good review! The welcome wagon was the spices in the best fresh salsa; that I had in a while, with warm nachos-when served like this they disappear quickly. (Admittance of it being the better than most, I have endured in VA) The perfect start for the taste buds to open up to just enough heat; after a sip of the "just right margarita" Second nature-taste sensation. We let our server, Manchee, know what we was ordering. Chef did his thing! Manchee, was consciously aware of everything we needed to have a pleasant evening. He was educated on outstanding service. The meal wasn't just good -it was spot on with Mexican flair and without swimming in too much of the essential factors. It was apparent the Chef knew his spices and exactly how much to add to each dish ...as they approached our taste buds, they was salivating in touch with themselves. Wow, just mounds of nachos with melted cheese, sour cream and that deliscious guac. Layers of powerful flavors just oozed together to make each bite delis. "Cuisine is when things taste like they suppose to". This was definitely a Mexican adventure. I can say I was sparked by the flavors of the southwest; garlic, chili peppers, fresh zing of lime & cilantro. Time was a most precious commodity ..we arrived at 6:30pm and left at 10pm. Even though these recipes were short order entrees; the flavors was intense and upon finishing; we were satisfied but not overstuffed. We had plenty to take home-little more than enough to drink -for thrist is a dangerous thing -because we had one drink each and it was perfectly bartended! Thanks to my good friend Jeanne-she has been telling me about this place-shes a regular. Just $20 dollars for 3 entrees; nachos with the works, crispy fried wings, special vegtetable( perfectly juilenne onions, mushrooms, peppers, white sauce and cheese dish with tortillas (yummy) and 2 drinks; sangria & margarita(spot-on giggers of alcohol). Give this spot a try and I am sure you will be impressed with the evidence; they learned how to treat company in their casa from the best! Thanks for the wonderful experience.
