Nice restaurant, beautiful location.
Sequoia is a nice place to eat in DC. The environment is slightly formal on the inside (although in the summertime the outside seating is casual and fun). Staff is friendly and courteous, but somewhat uptight. The food at times is wonderful, but isn't always consistent. My favorite thing on the menu is the lobster BLT. The lobster is fresh and the portions fair. The bacon is yummy, and the wasabi aioli makes it a decadent, awesome sandwich. Prices are a little steep for what you get, but not unfair. Ask for a seat by the windows!

Great View
I really enjoyed the food at Sequoia, although it is not really worth what it costs. However the fun and beautiful atmosphere makes it worth going.

Kudos
I was very impressed with the wait staff and the food was very good. I don't mind paying a little extra for the view and plenty of elbow room. My dining experience was a very pleasant and enjoyable one.

a nice dinner
I took my sister here during restaurant week and the seafood bisque was our favorite part of the meal. We took one sip of the bisque and were smiling from ear to ear. The rest of the food (my sister got lobster ravioli's and I got the filet mignon) was good but nothing that stood out in our minds. Overall, this place is good, has a good variety to choose from but nothing that stood out in my mind.

Save your money and go to Ruby Tuesday's
The view is what you are paying for at Sequoia. The food is equal to that of Ruby Tuesday's or anyother subpar family restaurant. The service is dissapointing. There are a lot of great restaurants in D.C. don't waste your time or money going here.
