Reasonable, Nice Atmosphere, Decent Food
I was looking forward to eating here because Middle Eastern food is my favorite, and I grew up where they had tons of fabulous restraurants...so I think I know my stuff on this cuisine. Lots of people have raved about this place, but now I'm thinking it partly has to do with the prices. The place gives you a lot of food for your money. I think it has a nice ambience and it would be a good first date place or good for a bite with friends (Saturday night they have a belly dancer after 9PM). I think the food varies depending on what you get. I thought the eggplant salad with pomegranet dressing and the tabouli was quite good. I was expecting my chicken kabob to be more seasoned and juicy according to past reviews of the place...maybe they had an off night. Nonetheless, I think this place is a good stop in Dupont for some Middle Eastern food if you actually want to have a sit-down meal and not some grab-and-go place on the somewhat cheap.
