i am a usual there! I love their food!

Sushi Sushi has great food for great prices. I order the lunch special takeout a couple times a week and it is a steal. For $7.15 you get a ginger salad, miso soup and two rolls. That is a great deal. Whenever I order they have it ready by the time I make the 5 minute walk over there. The fish is always fresh and the people are nice. Great lunch spot.

I lived in Japan for a year and know good sushi. They make a great maki known as a "Macomb Roll" and have a good selection of other rolls. Delivery is wonderful. Granted I live a block away, but when I have sush delivered to friends a little farther, the time for delivery was reasonable.

I don't know what happened to this place, but it has definitely gone downhill in recent months. My girlfriend and I would order from here a few times a month. We noticed the timeliness of delivery and quality of food began dropping, so we took a few months off. Now just tonight, I was in the mood for sushi, so we said, "What the heck?" Well after an hour and half delivery time (initially it was to be 45 minutes), the food arrived cold and the fish smelled funny. After spending 50 bucks on sushi, we ended up throwing part of the dinner away.

Hands down the best sushi for the value in DC. This place is a personal favorite of mine and I prefer it over 85% of the places I've been that cost double. While both service (sometimes) and ambience is sometimes lacking, it is of no consequence when you can get a fresh, delicious california roll for $3.50. I have mentioned the $ savings a couple times but - no, I'm not cheap I just eat a ton of sushi whenever I go.

I love this place, they produce great sushi constantly. Friends of mine and myself living around Massachusetts frequent these guys on a weekly basis, and you begin to notice over time that the people that go there are usually regulars. There was one day where we took a while having a conversation over tea at the table and without realizing it, extended our stay past opening hours; a member of the staff continued to serve us without any aggravation and did not even hint that we were overstaying our welcome! It's a small place, very intimate setting, and would usually be a place I'd hesitate to eat sushi at (very picky) but the food here is always top notch. For you delivery fanatics, if you live close by these guys deliver supprisingly quick. I haven't had any complaints with them as of yet. But I should warn you, regardless of what the price listed here is in terms of expense, the bill can get up there quite quickly if you are not careful... but then again, decent Sushi always comes with a price.
