I'm very disappointed
I traveled from Fort Washington Md to DC. I had to wait from 8:50 until 9:57pm for my food and that was after waiting in line for them to take my order. I paid $ 68.00 .They gave me the wrong meals. Hard dry rice, the chickenhad an old smell.and they forgot to give me one of the meals. I am done (and hungry!) '

Jerk Chicken Two Thumbs DOWN
This wasn't jerk chicken... It was something more like Peruvian chicken with BBQ sauce. People were telling me..they are better than Nigrel. WRONG WRONG WRONG... This was a joke. With their poor service and imitation Jerk Chicken I don't know how they stay in business. But then i read of your reviews and I know now. You have to be kidding me. Those of you that think this is Great Food or Jerk is smoking. This is not Jamaican food. Jamaican food has flavor...which this place so importantly LACKS! Never going back.

Great Food, Poor Service
This place was recommended by a family member so I was extremely excited to go. After we paid we waited almost 30 minutes to get 1 order of jerk Chicken, and a beef patty? Box after box was filled with rice and cabbage, but the meat was not ready...Isn't that what hot plates are for? If you're going to make your customer wait, don't have an attitude...I must say the food was really good, but I surely would not be a frequent customer if I lived here. Get it together and you could have a goldmine in your hands.

Good jerk, overcooked rice & veggies
The jerk chicken was good because it was done on the grill. Heaven help the person who cooks that sappy rice which is overcooked and sticks to the spoon as the server dishes it out. Cabbage overcooked. The food overall was poor. Because you have a clientele who want something spicy without having to cook it themselves, should you serve such food. That is NO Caribbean cooking. For a $15 dinner some respect for the palate man.

The poorest Jamaican food ever
I was so hungry when I decide to eat from sweet mango. I order the curry goat and could not believe the amount of fat on the goat and how BIG it was! It was almost as if they just threw the goat in the pot without cleaning it the cabbage even taste off, how do you mess up cabbage.and they use prebroiled rice. I waisted my money and didn't even eat the food I threw it away right in front of them and left. I will never eat there again! And those of you who enjoyed it obviously don't know what good Jamaican food is!

Great Food/Poor Service
The title is self explanatory... The food is hands down the best of its kind in the district (large oxtails dinner!) however, the service and efficiency of the restaurant leave much to be desired. They almost always run out of some thing on the menu. I have NEVER had my order executed correctly. And the call-in service is a joke. Not to mention the clear bias they have for regulars. There can be a line of over 15 people waiting for either their food or to order, and out of nowhere someone will walk up and ask for an impromptu meal and it's made with haste. Very unprofessional.

They could do much better!
The food is some of the best I've ever had...But these people think thats all they need to maintain customers. They mess orders up constantly and when you bring it to their attention its like oh well (with an attitude). If you call in 9 times out of 10 you'll still wait like everyone thats in line and depending on the order they'll mess it up. But the food is bangin. They may need to hire outside of their family.
