    A fun place to dine

I've dined at SweetWater Tavern 3 or 4 times, possibly more. It's a little pricey, but the food is always good, and I've never been dissatisfied. My wife loves the flourless chocolate waffle dessert. If you like beer, try the "Round of Samplers" which gives you a variety of 5 beers from pale to stout. They serve it in a round wooden rack. They brew a variety of beers on the premises, and change it up a good bit, so there's always something new. It is loud, so if you are looking for a quiet evening, this is not your place. But if you are with friends and want to be a little loud, this is your place.

    Better Than "Not Bad"

Had a chance to dine here on my last visit to D.C., after hearing a number of business associates talk about SweetWater. The place has an "Outback" feel, and is a bit noisy for any type of serious business meeting, but manageable. Food was good! I had the house Fajhitas; one in our party had the grilled Mahi, and the other had the drunken ribeye. The fajhitas were as good as any, the steak looked, "Outbackish" just cost a bit more, and the grilled Mahi looked decent.

A restaurant that caters to the snobs of D.C area

The slightly above average food quality was totally overpriced. I see the management as new young kids that seem to have little to no experience but with a degree run the show. I do mean the food was average but when the check came i wanted to throw it all up again. I see the wait staff backing each other up. It is funny I had the chance to meet a person employed by the restaurant at a grocery store and was told they treat the staff like crap and play favoritism like no other, oh well keep supporting a restaurant like this, its in the D.C area, that is normal.

Calamari, Mixed Green Salad, Drunken Rib Eye & Flourless Chocolate Waffle

I've listed the items that we had in the title and I've never tasted better. Service was outstanding and the food (all) was superb. I was quite surprised to see the variety of beer & ales offered and produced at the tavern - excellent sampler!
