We decided to try Talay Thai based on the reviews here. We weren't disappointed. It's less than a block away from the metro station so for tired feet at the end of a day, it was great to see it so close. We sat outside and were waited on quickly. I was nervous our girls (11 & 13) wouldn't like it but they loved the food! I'm not an expert on thai food but I thought the pad thai noodles were wonderful. We also enjoyed chicken satay and the steamed dumplings. My only criticism of the place is that the outside tables are small. With 3 main dishes and our own plates, it was difficult to move things around to share. But overall, my family and I were very pleased with this establishment.

I ordered delivery from Talay Thai and was very impressed. The green curry is amazing and while the pad thai isn't the greatest (it was very dry), it was still better than some places I've had. I live about 3 blocks from The Old Siam but I order from Talay because they give you much more food and they're prices are at least a dollar cheaper than other Thai places in the area.

I went there with my husband and my friend, and none of us were impressed. The food was mediocre at best and the service was very slow.

Very good food and service. Be happy if you are in the delivery area. Once we moved off the hill we realized how lucky we were to have good Thai delivery. We sometimes go back there for carry out, even though we now live 25 minutes away! The tofu cashew nut is a favorite, even among non-vegetarians.

Consistently good food with great prices. Also, fast delivery service even on rainy days.

We wanted delivery but were out of range. However, we picked it up. Parking was not hard and was ready in the time promised. Food was good. However, don't forget to ask for mild if you want mild. Prices were great. We had dinner for 4 for the price of an entree at our hotel.
