I'm no health freak, but for the love of everything right in the world, please tell me why I had to drain the oil from my drunken noodles not one, not twice, but four times. There is no reason why 16 liters of oil has to be used to make noodles. then when the delivery guy arrived, he asks me to come outside instead of just ringing the bell...... He left and came back to ask for more tip and actually knocked on my window to do so. Who does that?!?!?!??? If my order was $23, why is he expecting a total of $32??? I paid $30 to include tax and tip. He's not a waitress who has to walk around back and forth to tend to a table of restaurant-goers, and even they only get 20% for all their work. everything in the sampler was also oily. Furthermore, i asked for my food to be mild.... And even though i'm from a country known for it's spices, the food was an inferno.

I never leave reviews but I wanted to comment on how good our experience was at Tanad Thai yesterday (after almost not going because of the previous review). My party tried four dishes - panang curry, drunken noodle, pad thai, and a chicken dish - and we found them all to be delicious. The atmosphere was very nice -pretty table decor, servers were attentive but not intrusive, and noise level was not too loud. And the dishes were very reasonably priced. I would definitely go back!

Of you're looking for good and fine Thai cuisine in or near Tenleytown, DC, this is the last Thsi restaurant you'd want to pick. Although the owner is the same as that of the CLOSED 4912, the food in its menu is simply over-priced and tastes far less appetizing or appealing. Their Satay and Stuffed Chicken Wings, for appetizers, are disappointing Their Pork with Bean Paste and Ginger sauce, Pad Thai and fried mixed vegetable with beef taste feather flat. Their Panamg Curry Chicken feels not spiced up enough. Yes, a very expensive meal that was far from satisfying!
