It's about time someone realized that shavings of aged provolone taste good everywhere not just inside the Philly city limits. Add in fresh roast turkey and the correct quantity of vinegar and you're miles above the major sub chains. Ordering could be improved. There's no list of all the available optional toppings/condiments and it's not clear exactly what comes standard either. Are salt, pepper, oregano automatically included? What kinds of hot peppers are available? When I requested "a turkey hoagie with everything" the stunned cashier asked if that meant roast beef, ham, salami, etc. The white sub roll is soft not crisp while the whole wheat is chewy. Summary: while the subs at Taylor Gourmet are the best I've had south of Mason-Dixon they are still a long way from the streets of Philadelphia.
