Had incredible service from start to finish. All the staff were friendly, professional and prompt. Food was cooked perfectly(had a medium rare burger which is hard for a lot of restaurants to cook correctly). Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for truly authentic American food. And you MUST try the milkshakes!

We spent a few days in D.C. and decided out of all our eating experiences this was tops. We went in on a Monday morning and there was no wait. The decor was a great throw back. Loved the nostalgic vibe. From the glass dessert counter, newspaper menus and other decor you felt like you stepped back in time. As for the food- the best part of course! I decided to "Go big" and get the "Big Mark Breakfast." Wow. 3 eggs, sausage (Had a kick it was more like Italian sausage rather than breakfast sausage), 2 slices of bacon, 2 slices of toast, and their famous home made pop tart! Went with the "Peanut butter and bacon!" pop tart. The entire meal was excellent. My son came with and had the "Walk of Shame" burrito- he licked his plate clean. Lastly we shared a plate of their corn beef hash. So good! It had chunks of beef vs. ground up "Don't know what you are getting" hash. Our waitress was friendly and did not rush us. Great experience. Do it- this place is excellent!

We loved Teds. The food was excellent, big portions, wonderful presentation. Reasonable prices, and the shakes are great! Our waiter was excellent, friendly, quick service, they even sent us home with a dessert goodie bag. We will be back next time were in D.C.

I was very pleased with my breakfast at Ted's Bulletin and cant wait to go back. The cheese grits were amazing! I will be going back soon.

This was my first time visiting Ted's and I must say I might not be back. I had the pancake stack breakfast with a side of turkey sausage. The hash was rather dry and bland but I didn't mind because I always put ketchup on my hash. The eggs and sausage were good but the pancakes... SMH. Good grief! If you are a pancake fanatic like me, these aren't for you. The pancakes were three thick slabs of dry and bland cakes. Not light; very thick with no real taste. Very disappointed in the pancakes. Ted's isn't any old to-go place but they offer takeout. The establishment is a real restaurant and inexpensive so I think I got what I paid for. Do I think my money was well spent? No. If I do go back, I won't order breakfast. Lesson learned! *Fast yet pleasant service and a fresh bakery makes me consider a second chance but this review was based on my breakfast experience.*

Love this new place on 8th. Real food with breakfast served all day. I had the three salad plate. Chicken salad, tuna salad and egg salad with tomatoes and cucumbers. Excellent. My hubbie had the Ruben, which was delicious. A great replacement for Marty's, with great milkshakes and a bar to boot.
