I visited Ted's with a group of about 12 during a conference. Two of our companions were in scooters/wheelchairs and the staff was very accomodating. As far as value, it's pretty good. I am not a meat eater so I had a salad, which was somewhat expensive for $11, but it IS DC. My friend loved his steak, and the portions are enormous. For the service, the manager was outstanding. One of our people had been there the night before and he remembered her, and a few of us were wearing nametags from an earlier meeting and he greeted us by name. He was fabulous and a wonderful host. Our server on the other hand, was nice enough, but got an attitude when we asked for separate checks and said "well that's going to take like 30 minutes or something", which it did not. Gratuity was included, but upon our return to NC where we live we discovered she'd overcharged us by $10. Just makes you kind of wonder... Overall, I'd recommend it if you are a hearty eater. You can also choose from veggie burgers and buffalo burgers, their specialty, with about any topping you can imagine. And again, if the manager's there, you'll be well taken care of.
