Not what I expected
Today, Living Social had a deal on Thai Chili for 1/2 off. I jumped on it becouse it is so rare. I ordered Pad Thai. I got back to my desk, opened my box and saw mush. The noodles looked dry and stuck together. The tofu that was in it, was fried. This meal ruined lunch for me. I will never order this again and definitely will not go back to this establishment

Excellent!
I have been to every restaurant in Chinatown and this place is by far the best for service! The food is awesome too! The staff is friendly and very quick so I don't know what some of these other reviews are about that disagree. I have both eaten there and had it delivered, both experiences were fantastic!

The food was good but service was not.
I went there back in April of 2008 with another woman. The food was good. I had to stand up and get the attention of the service staff. They were continually talking among themselves and not paying attention to any of the customers. I do not think I will be returning even though the food was reasonable.

Stradling the fence
I thought the food was very good. I had shrimp pad thai and thought it was very tasty. The service, on the other hand was not very good. I felt rushed, as if I was in thier way and taking up too much space. The wait staff also seemed a bit confused.

Excellent service and food
We arrived in DC with no idea where to go to eat. Since we had two preteens with us, we wanted to make sure it was somewhere that would be not too high end and that there was enough variety to satisfy their sometimes fickle tastes. We were a little hesitant when we found Thai Chili on line but decided to give it a shot. The restaurant is inside a gallery with other restaurants, a movie theatre and Lucky Strike bowling lanes. We were seated immediately and the service was very attentive. We found the menu to be quite extensive and easily found something for everyone. The food arrived quickly and was hot and delicious. We asked for one dish as medium spice and it was exactly as ordered. The cost was a little high ($86 with tip for four people) but, compared to some of the other local restaurants, we were happy to pay it for a clean environment. We might visit again during our visit here!

Our favorite Thai place in DC
Great location. Great food. Perfect place for dinner before a movie upstairs.

Pretty good and Decent service
I'm no expert on Thai, but I find the food here enjoyable, well prepared and tasty. The wait staff has been pretty good. I think the prices are a bit high for the food, but not uncommonly high. Overall, I have been a returning customer! It's very conveniently located.
