Bargain Thai
Decent food ... VERY decent prices. The service isn't exactly warm and inviting ... but it is quick and efficient. There aren't too many table-service restaurants in Foggy Bottom where you can be guaranteed of being in and out in 45 minutes during the lunch rush!

Try the Drunken Fried Rice
It's absolutely not the best restaurant in town, but they're the only Thai place I know that has drunken fried rice. If you like fried rice and you like it spicy, Thai place, is the place for you.

mediocre food for a terrific price
Thai Place is not the best thai restaurant. Even within a few block radius there are better establishements. Anyone who has said that it is the best has likely not tried these other local establishements (such as Thai Coast). However, I still go to Thai Place because it has terrific location and the lunch prices are very reasonable. I wouldn't go out of my way to go to Thai Place, but I would go there over almost any other food place in the immidiate area.

The best on GW campus
Great Place. Remember to try the Thai Iced tea.

Great food!
This is probably some of the best Thai I've had in a while. Very crisp, fresh vegetables and non-scary meat, unlike Mai Thai. I would suggest the Chicken Lemongrass, followed by either the red or green curry. The service? Although they advertise delivery, they do NOT actually deliver unless you put up a major fuss. Just get take out and deal with the fact that some of the tastiest little ethnic spots unfortunately seem to have the worst service. What do you want, horrible food served with a smile? No way!! Bottom line: Thai Place has it's quirks, but then you remember why you put up with it when you (finally) take your first bite.

Excellent Food
The food was outstanding. The service was slow and not so good. It's not too big and very crowded during lunch. It's almost like you are sitting on top of each other. However, I go all the time because I love the food!

Meh
Fantastic... if you've never had Thai before. Totally mediocre food, and the service is quite poor.
