Just Okay if you don't LOVE Thai
I wanted to love this place after having lived in NYC I was dying to find a local Thai restaurant to frequent. BUT it was a slight disappointment. Don't order the veggie dumplings, was basically frozen veggie mix in a soggy wrapper. The tofu soup was decent, but the menu lacked in vegetarian options. The service was good, but too attentive... if that is possible. I will be on the look out for other Thai restaurants and probably will not return to this one.

Great Thai food !
The food is so good. I like the Pad Thai noodles, crispy duck, Papaya salad. The place is too crowded, but still OK.

Very good drunken noodles!
The drunken noodles at Thaiphoon were very tasty. The restaurant was crowded (there's not much space between tables) and loud but not unbearably so. Food is OK quality for the price.

Unimpressed
It was very loud and crowded, and our pad thai was soggy.
