Auld Shebeen - Real Irish Pub
Very well designed and run Irish pub. Real Irish owners always there, high standards for food & service, excellent beer/ale/stout selections and wonderful Irish music on weekends. Almost like being in Ireland!

Auld Shebeen, Old Town Fairfax
The restaurant interior is open but cozy and charming, with lots of dark wood and a faux set of village shop fronts along one wall. There is a special "library" nook facing the street, and its gas fireplace is very welcome in the winter. The menu is fairly standard Irish-American fare but very nicely prepared and with generous portions. (The potato soup is excellent.) Service is friendly and efficient. Parking is currently a little dicey with all the nearby construction, but there is usually free parking to be found in the municipal lot behind the restaurant. Highly recommended.
