Four of us went to dinner. Three people split the fried seafood appetizer and said it was very good. I had the charcuterie board. Although it did not come with pate as advertised, it was quite good. I ordered another item from the appetizer list for my main course: mussels and frites. The frites had to be sent back because they were cold. When they reappeared they were delicious. The mussels weren't cooked enough, shells hardly open. A complete bust. When the waiter served my husband his steak, he spilled the steak juice on the plate all over my clothes and arm. Not good. The first response by management wasn't much better. They wanted to wet my clothes with club soda while my dinner was getting cold. Why would I want to be cold and wet? Finally we agreed that they would cover the cost of dry cleaning. (I hope it works). Oh, my husband said his medium rare steak was over cooked. (It was medium) Although the manager deducted my meal from the bill, I had such a bad experience that I would never go there again.

I ate at Thirsty Bernie's two days ago, I had an unfulfilled experience. First off, the menu items did not consist of "bar" food (even though they advertise themselves as a "sports" bar), but bistro style, gourmet food, and overpriced at that. I had the pierogies, to begin with, which were $16 and not good. They were soft dough shells filled with cheese, sitting in a vat of butter/wine sauce, which had no flavor what so ever. Because I was so hungry and couldn't even get through half of them I decided to order a burger, which ran me another $11. The burger was stacked high, but again had very little taste to it. I ordered it medium rare, it came out well done and fell apart into pieces. The only thing that was half-way decent were the caramelized onions that came with the burger. The atmosphere is cold and bright, and there are so many t.v's its hard to conversate. They do have a nice bar, and an excellent amount of diverse beer and wine selections. If i ever venture back, which is highly unlikely, I would just do drinks.

I went to Thirsty Bernie Sports Bar & Grill and was wowed by the concept. The people were relaxed and great around all those HD tvs showing European Soccer, Rugby and everything else under the son. Then I ordered the Brats and ordered the big German mugs of Brew. I love import Beers and they have a great mix. Try the butchers board. They brought me a mix of charcuterie, that's their thing there. I am going back, just found my new hangout. No hustle and bustle, relax and do what I do best, Drink.
