Normally I don't give a rave review, especially with only one visit, but Tosca excells in all regards. Two of us made reservations for their $35 fixed-price pre-theater dinner and it has to be one of the great deals in town. But first, the restaurant and servers are both very suave, which is no wonder why a lot of high-level politicos go there. I have to admit I was late, but that didn't make a difference: immediate escorting to my party. We inquired of the waiter what he'd recommend, and were very pleased. Three courses, mind. The organic mixed greens salad with balsamic dressing? We asked for more argula, and it came as all argula. The veal ravioli with wine reduction was unbelievable, and the dessert, the chef's modernized tiramisu, was fabulous, Great coffee and a great wine list. Tosca can't be recommended too highly. And at $35, it's a marvel.
