In decline
The samdwiches here are pretty good and decently priced. They have different specials every day. I eat there at least once a week. However, the only person there who could understand your order and generally made the place run smoothly recently quit or was fired. Since then, it has been hard to get your order correct and they started charging if you want a different kind of bread. On the upside, it's one of the few places in the area that sell the best drink ever, Arnold Palmer Lite Half & Half.

This is my favorite local sandwich shop
I just moved to Old Town, and it took me a little while to find a place for lunch that I loved. I'm so glad I finally stopped in Uptown Cafe. Their sandwiches are fresh...my favorite is the Uptowner. And the atmosphere is so cute and warm. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a reasonably priced tasty sandwich. Oh, and their muffins are amazing too...don't know what they put in them, but even the lowfat ones are moist and flavorful.
