This is the kind of restaurant where one person takes your order, and later another person comes over and stands there yelling the name of each dish they're carrying until someone in your party sheepishly raises their hand like they're in a diner. I only say this because Utopia seems to be trying to cultivate a fine-dining atmosphere, and the main reason they fail right now (at least in my experience) is the poor service, a very fixable problem. Our waitress could have become our friend by offering to comp something when two dishes arrived five minutes after the previous two, and the fifth was completely forgotten. But she didn't. And I use the word "yelling" because, oddly, the dining room, which is full of brick and hard surfaces, has lost any chance of helpful dead acoustical spots in the ceiling because of diagonal murals in the corners that serve to bounce all the noise back into the room, making it next to impossible to carry on a conversation. We liked our food, though, and the music was good. Like I said, there are a few easy things they could fix to make this a great place. Not saying you shouldn't go, just be prepared.

The atmosphere here is great! The band was great and the vibe was wonderful. I went here for dessert and drinks. They were out of ALL but 1 dessert and that one was just average. The drinks weren't that great either. The menu wasn't very impressive, but we didn't try any dinner dishes. Nice spot for listening to music and maybe ordering a drink.

Looking into Utopia you feel you're in for a nice treat. Great atmosphere, nice interiors, candlelights on the tables, friendly maitre'd. But once seated, the drinks were weak and the food needed much improvement. Prices seemed reasonable until I realize I could make better food at home for half the price. Unfortunately I won't be going back unless there's some drastic changes in the food quality
