Best Korean restaurant in town
If you love good food, you will love the Woo Lae Oak. The Korean barbeques are delicious and come in a variety of flavors from sweet to spicy. The vegetables are plentiful and the desserts are fun and delicious. We have been going to the Woo Lae Oak for 30 years and will continue to enjoy their great food and good company. The owners are freindly and accomodating hosts you feel as if you are going to a relatives for dinner and not just a restaurant. The food is always plentiful and fresh.

Absolutely the Best
This is hands down the best Korean restaurant in town. The food, service and atmosphere are wonderful! If you haven't been.....GO NOW! I travel all the way from Columbia, MD to eat Woo Lae Oak and if i could, I would do it every day!

Quality Korean Food
I've been to the Woolaeoak in Beverly Hills, and I was pleased to see another one of these quality korean eateries on the east coast. I thought the food was excellent, possibly better than the Beverly Hills location. I had the naeng-myun noodles, and my husband had bul-go-gee beef grilled at the table. The atmosphere was nice, and service was very good. We were seated and served promptly, and our server was a delight. The food was authentic without being overly flavoured, and the buckwheat noodles were simply delightful. We'll definitely be back again the next time we're in DC. Highly recommended.

Interesting
Fairly large menu with some dishes outside of Korean cuisine. Meats were cooked perfectly and were ripe with flavor. Servers kept the drinks filled and were courteous. Atmosphere is truly of the Orient and is comfortable to eat in.

Excellent for pleasing picky eaters
Fantastic Korean BBQ and surprisingly good variety so if you want Korean or Japanese but are dining with someone with picker tastes - lots of American options too like Kobe hamburgers, BBQ sandwiches, and the BEST French Fries anywhere.
