I was in DC for a conference and found Woodley's. We went back twice because the food was the best value for good food in the area. I very much recommend the tomato basil soup. It was the best I've ever had.

I went here for Sunday brunch with some friends, and we were very satisfied with our meals. We all had eggs, very tasty, though I'll admit that I've had better elsewhere. Hash browns were rather bland, but definitely not bad. Overall, very decent food, not that expensive, and very friendly atmosphere. Our server seemed very distracted and kept forgetting drink orders, but I'm willing to bet that she was an exception. I'll definitely come back here when I need a quick, basic brunch.

I suppose its wrong to want breakfast on a Saturday morning/early afternoon in Woodley Park. The pickings are slim, the places are crowded and the parking is scarce. Woodley Cafe was indeed a joy! After 30 minutes hunting for parking. The crowded cafe had no rate and excellent service. The food was good, the coffee hot and plentiful. Belgian Waffle was flawless and the Steak and Eggs is my recommendation! I haven't been for lunch or dinner, but I would definitely recommend Woodley Cafe for lunch!

...very solid, reliable meal w/ great attentive service. Have eaten here a few times and have yet to be let down. Bruschetta is quite good as is the cajun shrimp pasta. Sure, it's not a fancy "date place" but perfect for a quite weeknight bite.
