I went here on February 2011. On the board there was a vegetarian special of the day. I don't remember its name. Since I'm a vegetarian I decided to have that. When I got my plate I realized that most of plate was made of peas. I HATE PEAS! I sat down and decided to give the dish a try. and OH MY those peas were AMAZING! I can't describe them enough, all I can say is that those are the only peas I like that I have ever tried. I have been searching for the dish on their website but I can't find it. I absolutely reccomend this place. It has a very relaxed atmosphere. Since I had to go back to my meeting I decided to take with me my dessert, I bought some Baklava. I wasn't able to eat it right away, I ate it until the next day cause I totally forgot about it and it was still so good!! I totally reccomend this place!!

I walked in and saw a long line but waited less than 5 minutes to order. I watched them make my food and 15 min from when I walked in I was eating. Stress free, nobody bothered me, portions were huge. Wish Zorba's Cafe opened a place in Rochester; I would eat there every day.

Stayed in nearby hotel. Desk said Zorba's was the best overall without spending too much. He was right. Good food, big portions and cheap prices. Casual, no-pressure dining. They were really busy but I only waited 10 minutes for my food. Good thing when travelling...no time (or money) to waste. See you next time im in DC.

I spent 4 weeks in Greece this summer and found Zorba's in DC when I came back...Zorba's food is better than Greece. It is made right...now that I know. Greece had awesome dishes, but Zorba's Cafe cranks out the food super quick. And yeah...the place is packed, cuz it's good food!

Wow, I like everything at Zorbas! I work nearby and eat there 2- 3 times a week, and make my way once or twice a month on weekends with friends on our way to the clubs. Duh..."the tables are always full"...cuz people love the place! I came to DC from NY and Zorba's puts most NYC places to shame...Zorbas is authentic Greek food...confirmed by my Greek bud Spiro from NYC.

Friends of mine like this place. I can't imagine why. Then again, some people don't mind eating in a food factory. Plates are prepared assembly-line style, although not necessarily in an efficient manner. When they are busy, you may end up waiting quit a while. Portions are laughably small, prices are high for what you get, food is bland. A main entree will probably not fill you up, so look to ordering a side dish of something. I challenge anybody to find more than 1/4 tsp of feta on their salad. After you get your food, good luck at finding a place to sit. If you have a problem climbing stairs while carrying your food tray, don't go to Zorba's, because most seating is on the second floor and the first-floor tables are always full. Very little effort is given to bussing trays and cleaning tables. I would not go back under any circumstances.

The food here is dirt cheap, but excellent. You order your food at the counter and they call your number and you pick it up, so you save $$ because there is no table service or waiters. My husband and I have eaten here before and spent $25 total for 2 entrees, an appetizer, and a beer. The patio is great for relaxing and people watching. We love this place and eat here frequently. Highly recommended!
