You can Search for Restaurants or you can Browse for Restaurants.
When you search for restaurants, you usually want to search for a specific term or criteria. For example, you can search for a restaurant name or for a specific food item like clams casino. Browsing for Restaurants allows you to navigate through all the restaurants based on location and cuisine.
Search for Restaurants
You can find the 3 types of searches on the search band that stretches across the top section of the page.
Restaurant Name Search – Use this search when you know the name of the restaurant you’d like to find.
Find-a-Food Search – Clicking this link will take you to a page where you can search for restaurants that serve a particular food or dish like Beef Wellington or Tiramisu.
Advanced Search – This search page allows you to define multiple criteria including area, neighborhood, zip code, cuisine, street and cross street.
Browsing for Restaurants
From our Home Page, you can browse through all the restaurants By Cuisine, By Neighborhood or By Map Area. After your first click, you can drill down or refine the restaurants using the links running down the left hand side of the page. For example, you can start on the home page by clicking the cuisine Japanese. Once the results appear, you will be able to refine your search by area or neighborhood by clicking the links in the left hand column. Alternatively, you can start by clicking into a neighborhood or an area on the map and then drill down by cuisine.
Special Searches
In the top right corner of the home page, you will see the following special searches.
Recent Restaurant Reviews – This link takes you to a page that lists 10 recent reviews for each area of a city.
Recently Added Restaurants – This link takes you to a page that shows you restaurants that we’ve recently added to our website.
Restaurants with Delivery – When you know you’re going to order delivery, this link gives you a browsing experience that shows only restaurants that offer delivery.
Open 24 Hours – When its late, or even really late, and you’re really hungry, this link will take you to a list of restaurants open 24 hours.
